Lectures

The lecture takes place Tuesdays 3:45-5:15 p.m. in 50.34, -102. On June, 10th no lecture takes place due to Pentecost holidays.

The lecture on July, 22nd is dedicated to current research and advances in the area of software product line engineering. Specifically, at the chairs DSiS and TVA, as well as the Collaborative Research Center Convide.

Goals of the Lecture

This module teaches students the procedures and techniques for the development and maintenance of multi-variant software systems using software product lines. The lecture will provide an overview of the basic goals, processes, concepts and techniques in the development and maintenance of software product lines. It is divided into the subject areas of the problem space and the solution space. In the first topic area, topics such as feature-oriented domain analysis, feature models and analyses of the variant space are covered, whereas in the second topic area, various techniques for product generation and testing of product lines are discussed. In addition, current results and issues from software product line research are presented and discussed.
