Agenda
Minutes
- Palladio Release 3.4.1
- Release Date: August XX, 2013
- Who prepares the release? Micha is currently on leave.
- Testing Deadline: July 22, 2013 (Package maintainer)
- Pre-Release: To be prepared until July 15, 2013 (Micha)
- Which packages have to be tested by whom (Micha is currently on leave)
- Include new GMF editors (tested by Sebastian)
- In general: Define test cases for editors
- New Xtend-Transformation
- Karlsruhe checks in Xtend-transformations as a branch into the repository
- Paderborn is currently developing Xtend-transformations for ProtoCom
- Both still needs some time (few weeks)
- OCL Constraints https://sdqbuild.ipd.kit.edu/jira/browse/PALLADIO-266
- Jira bug (reported by Sebastian)
- Sebastian created a new template
- Eclipse Kepler
- Steffen already tested (parts of) PCM (nightly)
- See Steffen's mail in mailing list
- Service Release for PCM compatible with Kepler until Palladio Days (?)
- Start building for Kepler after upcoming Palladio release (est. mid August)
- PCM Core Refactoring (i.e. Core PCM as pure ADL, alles weitere modular)
- Two possibilites:
- Refactor editors (make it look like performance/reliability is only a plug-in)
- Refactor meta-model (move performance/reliability stuff from meta-model to plug-ins)
- Probably two steps. First refactor editors, then refactor meta-models.
- Deep-modelling?
- Further problems:
- Instance relation (onthological/syntactical) of components/interfaces. Will probably break backward-compability. (Steffen)
- Graphiti editors instead of GMF editors (Sebastian)
- What further problems need to be tackled which break backwards-compability?
- Collect issues/problems on dedicated Wiki-page (Write e-mail until next ConCall)
- Feature Status and Maintainers for Palladio
- Idea: Document for each feature (as a Visio Diagram?) ...
- ... by whom it is maintained
- ... the current status (still maintained, deprecated, ...)
- ... publications
- Prepare for next Palladio Days (Paderborn starts the documentation)
