Motivation
Vitruvius is a framework for managing change propagation in model-driven development. When a change is triggered for propagation through established consistency preservation rules, those proposing the change could make more informed decisions if they are aware of its propagation consequences. To support this, a preliminary data logging mechanism and a performance analysis approach have been defined. To complete the results, a set of quantitative metrics, such as estimated propagation time and the number of subsequent changes, need to be studied and implemented. These metrics can help identify the most appropriate change. By weighing these factors, Vitruvius can assist in making more informed, effective decisions regarding changes.
Tasks
Tasks would belong to the following listed items:
- Identifying the key metrics for decision making.
- Developing a monitoring mechanism to capture and compare actual propagation outcomes.
Benefits
- Working with cutting-edge and innovative technologies
- Close connection to ongoing/current research project
- Excellent working environment and intensive support
