Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) is a method for integrating LLMs with external knowledge sources. Building on this concept, previous work has developed a framework designed to restore traceability links between artifacts in software development processes.
Trace links (TLs) connect elements across different artifacts, such as requirements and code, and are crucial for ensuring the traceability of software development processes.
Software projects typically involve a wide range of artifacts (e.g., docs, code, guidelines). These artifacts may contain additional information that can aid in restoring TLs.
