A 20 minutes presentation (+ 10 minutes for questions) about the state of the art for "Praxis der Forschung": Performance analysis during development is essential, as reacting to performance issues as early as possible is key. Due to gaps in the implementation during development, it may not always be possible to evaluate performance reasonably at the implementation level. In such cases, high-level models can be used for performance evaluation. Architectural Performance Models (APMs) are examples to such models. Like most models, APMs suffer from getting outdated, unless continuously updated. Adapting APMs to code changes is well researched, whereas the other direction is not. The aim of this project is to contribute towards better adaptation of code to APM changes.
